The event was fun. We had 12 punters and 6 vehicles crawling all over the Napier hill.
Hillstarts were a pre-requisite requirement though not required and but don’t forget to let off the handbrake as the hill was sometimes steeper than average requiring 2nd into 1st gear changes.
To complete the challenge you had a list of places to explore and find the answers albeit counting buttons on a button house, finding out the date of the club or building and getting the price for a haircut at the local market. bonus points were also given for collecting various items of rubbish. The winner came down to a tie which then was decided by VW mechanical knowledge. The firing order of the cylinders 1432 was beyond the scope of the dueling pair.
The final winner went to Bix and Debbie who now have a trophy to show and next year will reciprocate with a similar event to pass on the trophy.
A huge thank you for our Event organisers Craig and Simone as we all had a great blast.
